Then what happened!?🙃🙄

After 2023, in November after CAT, I decided to learn some job-ready skills. So, I will start from graphic designing. As I started to work on that. I have started with Adobe Illustrator. It took 21 days to completely learn Adobe Illustrator. Soon, the CAT result came out and I got to know that my percentile came 20 percentile below my expectations. My heart broke. I got very disturbed in my mind, so I started learning Adobe Photoshop this time. Have completed it in 15 days. 

January came. This was the new year, 2024. Time was passing and was also trying to forget the CAT 2023. I started exploring some new things and trynna improve my management skills, especially self-management skills. I went to the Kolkata film festival with friends, career launcher counselling even at the hotel Park. 

January 2024

Then in February, I attended a concert by Shilpa Rao at St. Xavier's College with my cousins. Then I had interviews with the Jaipuria Institute of Management at the Hotel Kenilworth and BML Munjal at Hotel Park again. My graphic designing course was difficult to complete. At that time I had learnt Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects also. February ended. 

February 2024

March started soon, and it was too difficult to decide which to go to which college. I got selected to those colleges but at that time I couldn't decide whether should I go to a tier-II college this year or I should drop out this year and make another attempt for CAT. 7 days, a week was too difficult and I decided to drop this year at least. Took action as my decision. Dropped and joined the British Council to improve my English speaking fluency. The class got started soon. Also, I started attending my classes, it is like college to me. I always wanted the most of the essence from this gap year, so it was a great decision and also the right time to join the British Council. Also in March, my CAT prep partner Pallab planned a trip to Vrindavan-Mathura-Agra. I will tell you about this in another blog. It was a week-long trip that we enjoyed too much and also it made me the best Holi ever in my life. It is another story. After we came back to home. 

March 2024

The month of April got started. This time I and my friend bought another CAT course from Iquanta. But there was a quite big problem. I can't get started with the study. So I have continued my skill learning. I started to learn coding, got started with HTML, and then completed CSS followed by Javascript. This month I got in touch with a person. Hence month of April ended. 

At the start of May. Something new was happening. I started talking with her and some new things started. We started talking about our matches-unmatches our likes-dislikes, our preferences, ethics, characteristics everything, we talked to each other at night times, someday we started calling at 12 am and continued to talk till 4 am. 8th of May we met each other on the first time or it can be said we dated each other and have a long conversation with her at a restaurant in barasat, we've spent 4 hours that day. I had felt some feelings for her I missed her that day after leaving her. This month the classes are increasing, I have to go to the British Council twice or thrice a week. In the last week of May, she said her instinct says we together can't have a relationship can we still be friends? My heart was broken. I learnt a great lesson that after putting in 100% of your efforts you still fail in your goal or expectations. So even if there is a 99% expectation of succeeding you still need to remember there is a 1% chance of failure also. Having confidence is good but having over-confidence is not good cause over-confidence gives birth to expectations and when expectation does not meet reality, it hurts, it really really hurts the most. By the way, I uninstalled this thought quickly and celebrated my birthday on 31st May happily. That's how the month of May ended.

The next day June started. From the start of this month, I fully focused on my CAT and studies. Got started with quants and made some small small goals. It was a bit harder than the previous year cause getting involved with studies is not so easy. Though I focused on my studies and skills. On 13th July I went to hang out with her again, this time at Rabindra Sadan we went to Haldiram's. The funniest fact was she had fallen on the ground while stepping out of the bus. Anyway, the day also went quite well. June was totally a hectic month for me cause I had to get out of my home four days consecutively cause there were some emergency jobs that I should get done as soon as possible. For four days, one day I had to go to the Aadhar Seva Kendra to update our Aadhar card. I went with My friend JD. That day we had to hurry too much cause we got late in half an hour but our luck was quite good cause we reached to the centre on time. After getting our job done we went to the tech park which is called as the Time Square of Kolkata. We really had a great time there, clicked some great great photos and returned home. Again, I focused on my studies and completed some modules. I also joined another course named Data Analytics Essential by Cisco. Literally, I started to enjoy the course cause the course included 10 modules and real-time lab problems. And that's how June ended.

June 2024

July started, and study pressure increased too much. I completed the Data Analytics course and got a badge and a certificate. Some mishappenings took place in my life and also those were resolved soon. I planned to meet her this month also, and she asked me to go with her to accompany her to Kumortuli. To be continued.....
